Tutorial: Using MyLibrary

my library

The My Library portal interface can be a valuable resource for faculty and students to store and organize links to web sites, databases, and e-journals.

  • My Links  In this section of the My Library page you can links to web pages. The links will appear in a non-hierarchical, alphabetized list.

  • My Databases  In the My Databases box you can add links to databases provided by the SU library. You can browse available databases by subject category and select ones to add.

  • My E-Journals  The My E-Journals portion of the My Library page provides an access point for e-journals you use on a regular basis.

If there are particular journals you want to read on a regular basis, you can add links to them from your My Library page for convenience. To add a journal to your list, click on the plus sign at the top of the "My E-journals" box.

my e-journals

Adding a journal to your list is similar to adding a database. You can browse through a list of journals for a particular discipline, or you can browse an alphabetical list of all journals.
